Happy Birthday Daddy!

So it was Daddy's birthday over the weekend.  Happy Birthday Daddy!

New stuff for me?  I'm now enjoying peas and prunes.  Yummo.  And a little bit if apple juice.  I'm also starting to sit nicely now.  Still falling over every now and again, but overall, enjoying the view.  My brother is quite the entertainer.  :)  I'm still very good and rolling about, this way and that.  I can also stand for a few seconds while holding on to the couch.  I end up falling over because I don't know that I need to hang on.  Oh well.  I don't have very far to fall.  

Today, I fell asleep on the family room floor, while Cameron and Mommy were working on a puzzle.  I was so very tired.  Mommy carried me into my room and I slept a bit more!

I'm a pretty smiley guy these days.  I'll smile at just about anyone!  And did I tell you that I am quite ticklish?  Hee hee hee

Sleep training, again?

So, Mommy and Daddy are back to sleep training me. It's not that fun, but Mommy gets more sleep now. I guess I'm good too, since I usually wake up pretty happy. It's not full-on sleep training, since Mommy still gets up to feed me every 4-5 hours. Thank goodness!

I've been eating a lot lately. I have 2 meals a day (about 2-3 ounces)...baby cereal with sweet potato or pear or carrots. It's pretty good stuff. I like it much more than my brother did when he was my age. Though for a while there, I had a little backup. Oops. But now it's all good. :) Oh, and of course, still having my regular milk. It does my body good.

I'm a great grabber now too. I have a tendency to push things away when I'm trying to reach for it. But since I have a great big brother, he usually helps me.

Oh, and boo hoo, I'm kind of sick again. Stuffy nose and general crabbiness. Fun for Mommy!

6 months update

So, I'm 26 3/4 inches tall, 17 pounds, and my head circ is 44cm. I'm comfortably hovering around the 50%ile mark all around. :) I also got 3 shots today! Ouch! I was not happy about that at all, but thanks to Mommy's hugs, I'll be all right.

6 months old!

I'm officially 6 months old today! Yippee! I'm eating more these days, rice cereal with sweet potato. It's mmm mmm good.

Yay, no more sleep training!

For now anyhow. Mommy is back to feeding me all the time now (something about low milk supplies). Yay!...oh, but I hear things are coming back soon. Wonder what that means for me?

I've been having some rice and oatmeal cereal mixed with sweet potato. It's really good and I eat it up. Mommy makes it pretty thick now, and that's better. I'm pretty good at swallowing the food. I make a big mess sometimes when I try to grab the spoon! Sorry Mommy. I love to grab though. The more I practice, the better I get. :)

Sleep and food

Mommy started sleep training me. And it's not going to well. I cried a lot. Now she is doing another method and is staying with me till I fall asleep. I like this way better, but I don't do much better in the middle of the night. And she comes when I wake up around 6 to feed me. I'm much happier then.

I've also started rice cereal and once I had some banana. Yesterday I have a whole ounce of rice cereal. I'm eating better than my big brother did. I heard he only ate finger foods and didn't like the baby food at all. So far, I like it. Guess I'm just hungry. I think Mom is going to try sweet potato later this week. Yummo!

I'm really good at rolling around now. Not so good at sitting though. I always just flop forward. Oh, and Mommy gave me a little haircut. Some of my hair was getting really long and then in the back it was getting kind of nappy....from always turning my head side to side when I sleep. :)

Big Brother's Birthday Party

Today was Cameron's 3rd birthday party. We had everyone over to our house. I had a lot of fun being held by all the aunties and uncles. :) I was a good boy too, and didn't mind the strangers. I even feel asleep at one point. Happy Birthday Cameron!
