Dance costume preview...

I'm in the recital...and what should I wear?  Bowtie or tie?

Mommy made the suspenders and the bow tie, but we bought the tie.

New Pants

So Mom went a little crazy....she got a new sewing machine, very fancy with lots of bells and whistles apparently.  Add that to the fact that I'm not a fan of khakis or jeans, unless I wear my pajamas under than.  Thus, this spring weather is leaving me without pants that are long enough (yay, I'm growing) or soft enough...So Mommy went crazy and has been making me lots of pants.

This is a small black and white gingham, made from an old baby wrap.

Jailbreak pants, lined with supersoft knit, plus knee patches

B Sprinkle tee (too bad this shirt is too big for me)

Crazy stripe pants...these are pretty crazy

Reading...

So yesterday and today, we read Watch Your Step Mr Rabbit, by Richard Scarry.  Mom read it, I repeated.  The 3rd time "reading", I did most of it by myself.  Mom had to prompt me a few times, but I really did it! (okay, I think there's some memorization in this, but hey, we all gotta start somewhere!!!)

Mother's Day at home.

For Mother's Day, Paw Paw happened to be in town, so we all got together...Uncle Chris and Auntie Susan and the cousins.  Daddy made a great little steak salad with grilled watermelon for the grownups.  Then the kids made individual pizzas.  Yummy!
