School assessment

These last couple of weeks at school, I have been doing some assessments, to see where I am...and these are the results....


This one, I guess I had trouble recognizing lowercase L and H...but I got all the others!

Here, the teacher handed me the paper and told me to fill in the blanks...no, she didn't say that I had to use lowercase letters....

I got the phonics for the starting sounds...Yeah!

Color by number?  Yeah, totally aced this and sorta within the lines...more or less...

Counting and matching up with the numbers...

Patterns...totally got this one.  The last one was kinda hard, but I got it.

Good stuff, right?  And Mom has been teaching me to read a few words...okay, so far they are easy ones...MY, TO, and HE.  And I know how to spell Mom and Dad, too!

Lindsay's Bday party

We went to Lindsay's 4th birthday party this weekend and had a great time doing crafts and riding our bikes...

Better, yes?

Plus, I'm practicing bike riding every day...getting better and better.  Can navigate the sidewalks now.  (last time I was crying cuz I couldn't do it), and can start and stop much better all by myself.  Still have trouble with slopes....some of them can be quite steep, you know?

Yes!!!  I am so happy I am finally done with my training wheels.  It took a lot of work, but I did it!  I still need some help starting and stopping, and have some trouble negotiating the sidewalk....the grass, the trees, the backs of cars...they all seem to get in the way when I'm trying to ride down the sidewalk!

Following in big brother's footsteps...I mean, dance steps...

So, Cameron had his dance convention and I went to watch the shows. They won a few awards...so I was inspired to take up dancing too.  I go to a morning class.  And here is some video of my first class....keep in mind, this was my very first class.  I learned the dance (the one at the end of the video) that day and the class is only 45 minutes.



They are the drama queens, and I am "pointing" at them.  The teacher is going to mix another song into this one...so I'm not just spending the whole dance pointing.   Phew.
