Sleep talking

Mom said I mumbled "green....something something" in my sleep.  She wasn't sure if I was awake or not, so asked, "What?"

To which I replied...
"And the green monster came and colored the floor green"...

I was still sleeping.

Class Play

Even though we had our graduation ceremony, we still had two more weeks of school.  Though, we didn't do much work....Instead, we worked on a play.  It was the Tortoise and the Hare.  I played the Frog.  I was a good Frog.

That big kid next to me actually isn't in my class.
He's in the 4th grade and his Mom is a teacher at the school.
He just helps us out mostly...

Pledge and 50 states

Here, B does the Pledge of Allegiance....

He's been working on this for a couple of weeks now.  Had to type up a sheet with all 50 states so we didn't miss any...He sings this song several times a day.  When he gets to 5th grade this will come in handy.  I heard they test this.

Congrats to big brother

He and his dance team won big at the dance convention...and here is what I did with Daddy while waiting between their performance and the awards ceremony....

Watching movies on the itouch

Starting the draw...

Look at my artwork

All these cute faces, plus mine!

Oh, and Mommy started working on my "guh" sounds and I'm doing okay!  Yay!  I can almost say Gung Gung, and car....but you can tell that I'm trying really hard.  Yay for me!

Yickit Mommy!

Can you guess what Yickit means? I say it all the time....

End Of Year Performance!

Okay, so it wasn't much of a performance (by me)...I didn't move this time either. The only time I moved was to wave at Daddy...

BTW, I now play with Bryson at school. Too bad there's only one more week of school.

Oh, and I like to say "if...then.." sentences a lot and it usually takes me forever!

Yut yee saam

Yut yee saam
saam yee yut
yut yee saam say mmm look chut
yee saam say
say saam yee
say mmm look chut baat gauw sup

That's my favorite song (you've got to sing it in Cantonese....) and my other fave is Jingle Bells (Mom and I sing a lot of different songs...but she ran out of ones where she knows the words....)

Oh, and I can also sing....zhu ni sheng ri kuai le...cuz I heard it like a million times at Cameron's school. When it was Cameron's bday and we went to his class...they sang it like....5 or 6 times. Sheesh! Mommy caught me singing it this morning in my crib. Nice to wake up singing, right? Oh, but anything that starts with an L...sounds like an R when I say it. Funny, huh?

I think I'm ready to go to school. Every time I got with Mom to pick up Cameron, I have to make a stop at my classroom. Room 1. I stop in and "say hi" to Miss Catherine and Miss Rosa. (okay, I don't usually say much, but I do run around and look at all the fun classroom stuff. One time, I even told Mom..."okay, you go away now"....ha ha! I guess I'll be going to a summer class for a couple of weeks, so that will be fun. I cannot wait because my teachers are super nice and school sounds like a lot of fun.

My brother and I tend to fight a lot...usually over trains, or things related to trains...like train books. If Mom is around, then there can be peaceful mediation....but unfortunately, Mom can't always watch us and will be in another room...then...well, I behave badly and I've been known to pull my brother's hair. Ooops! Mom usually comes right away and I say sorry to Ge-Ge and give him a big hug and kiss. One of these days, we'll be able to work it out ourselves, hopefully. :) I know my brother is a good big brother.

I can name lots of trains in the Thomas the Train family. Mom is amazed that I got that from watching Thomas on tv. I just love trains!

Big sentence

Yesterday, Daddy asked us if we wanted strawberries or grapes and Cameron said he wanted strawberries....So I said, "Du du (ge ge) eat strawbee, I (pointing to chest) eat dapes. (grapes)" Wow, Mommy said. Cool, huh?

And recently, my brother and I have been "talking" to each other. Cameron has always been talking to me, asking me questions and sometimes even trying to scold me. But I usually never said anything back, or just yelled back "No!". But now we are asking each other questions and answering nicely too.

Why?

When Mommy says no to something I ask for, I will reply..."Why?" It's probably because I hear Cameron ask why all the time. Why is one of my favorite words. I also like to say, Go faster Daddy! (when Dad is driving)!

1, 2, 3, GO!!! I love to say that and then run run run! Whee!

No Mommy, not hot...

Oh yeah, I get tired of Mommy always telling me the food is hot...so I say...No Mommy, not hot. She's always saying that when she puts dinner/lunch in front of me. I'll touch it and tell her it's not hot. I can handle it. :)

I've started doing some puzzles. Just the two piece match kind. It takes some prodding, but I can usually do most of it myself. You know, match the color red to the strawberry, fuzzy fur to the bunny, etc. I like the line up the pairs as I finish.

Also, rememeber that time I sat on the potty and Mommy took my picture? Well, that was the last time...I don't like it anymore. Daddy put it away, so maybe I'll like it again in a few weeks.

Spicy food rocks! Everyone is surprised when they see me eat spicy stuff, but it's so good. I also like "spicy" toothpaste now (the minty kind). I've been better at brushing my teeth, but b/c my frenulum on my upper lip and gums is really low (it used to be between my two front teeth), I have a hard time getting the toothbrush to brush the top of my front teeth. Getting better, but it's still tough.

New Year's round up

Mommy and Daddy brought out the potty for me...and I used it. Made a few drops and then did some pretend grunts for show. Hee hee. We'll see how that goes.

One of my new favorite words is....why? And, I don't know (sounds like "i no no"). I can make lots of sentences now. I'm pretty good at talking, but I probably won't say much when you see me. I get shy.

These days, I'm a pretty good eater, although some meals I still don't eat anything. If there's a steady supply and variety of foods, I can usually out-sit everyone else (like at a party). I'm kind of a slow and steady eater. I love love love fruits of all kinds, even kiwi and pomegranates. And I like lemons too. I love fish, especially salmon. And rice with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. I like meats, like chicken or fish, though not that into ground meats. I do like sausage however. All sausages. And of course spicy food. Oh, and meat on the bone. Like Salt and Pepper Chicken wings (love them so much. And I like ribs. Last time we had ribs, there weren't enough for me! I also like hot tea, even though sometimes it's bitter, like the kind they serve at chinese restaurants.

I copy everything my big brother does. I'm sure he gets annoyed at me sometimes, but I think he likes having me follow him around. Most of the time, we play well together, but you know how it goes, we fight sometimes. Cameron does teach me a lot though. He shows me the dances he learns at school and dance class and we'll put on a show for Mom and Dad. They love it.

Sleep. I sleep a lot. I get about 12 hours at night. I think I could sleep more, but my brother gets up earlier and starts making noise and asking for breakfast and all that. I'm at one nap, and it's usually about 2.5 hours. I love my crib and I fill it with lots of friends (stuffed animals, several dogs, bears, etc). Still on the binky....it's gonna be tough losing those. Mommy says I'm a good sleeper. Yay!

Hattie burday bear bear

So in preparation for my upcoming 2nd birthday, Mom and I have been practicing singing ( I love to sing, ya know?) and I pretty much know the words to the Happy Birthday song...and I can even change the names out. Which I love to do. Plus, I'll be singing to Paw Paw soon.

I also like to sing itsy bitsy spider, and whatever my brother is singing or whatever is on the radio.

Been doing a lot better at Gymboree. I even walked on the parachute (toes curled up) because Mom sat herself practically in the middle of it for bubble time, and I had to be near Mommy. And I even mumble (under my breath) the answer when Miss Rita asks questions about the pictures. And I will do all the pretend play that she asks us to. It's pretty fun and I'm enjoying it. Thank goodness Mommy didn't stop taking me!
