All better now

So my fever is gone, a few days ago, and I'm pretty much all better. But I still have to finish my bottle of meds...which I really like. It's strawberry flavored, so it tastes nice and yummy. (Mom was sick too...she had something different, and since I wasn't sleeping, she wasn't getting any better...so finally, she's almost all good now that I'm sleeping at night...and so is she!)

Even when I was really sick, Mom wanted to sleep in my room with me, but I wouldn't let her. I told her to go away. (I call for her in the middle of the night...many many times, but I still don't want her in my room) But when we are on a trip, I'm actually okay with Mom sleeping next to me. Funny, huh? I guess it's a new place, so I like Mom to be there.

Haven't been to school in two whole weeks (LA trip plus ear infection)...but will be back in action on Monday. Hope they didn't miss me much. :)

1st Ear Infection

So, I got my first ear infection....things started to get bad when we were at Disneyland. I had a fever on the drive home, and it was pretty miserable. But surprise surprise, I didn't sleep at all in the car. Crazy me.

Mom took me to the doctor because I was saying my head hurt. And when the doc looked into my ear, he knew right away. I still have a fever and complain about being "cold" when the motrin starts to wear off and my fever starts to climb again. But I'm on antibiotics now, so I should start feeling better soon. I seem to have congestion, but nothing really comes out of my nose...at night when I sleep, I snore like the dickens! Mom can even hear me from her room! My days are totally up and down, sometimes it seems as though I'm not sick at all, running around, playing trains and being my silly self...but then I crash and feel terrible and cling to Mommy like no tomorrow.

Disneyland and LA were fun. Mom and Dad took me on the monorail around and around and around, while Cameron was at his class. I loved it. We rode on quite a few rides this time too. Dad treated us to breakfast at Chip and Dale's storybook cafe, where we met quite a few bears and raccoons and characters we did not know the names of. We must have been the only ones there that weren't familiar with them. Oh well. It was fun.

Paw Paw and Gung Gung's house was fun too. We played at the park, went to the beach and the weather was really nice. I loved the stairs...up and down and up and down. We didn't love the beach though, because the waves were super big. I was scared.

Pink eye

Gunky yucky pink eye...that's what they say I have and I very much dislike getting drops in my eyes!

Can you tell which eye? It's my left...but Mom did start noticing a little bit of gunk in my right one. I might look happy in this picture...but when I see the drops...I run and kick and scream!

And there aren't that many new pictures of us these days cuz it's just business as usual around here. The next few weeks there'll be lots more pictures...we've got a busy schedule!

Sweater

Auntie CC got me this really nice grey Jcrew cardigan last year....and I wore it so much (almost every day) that she got me another one in blue for Christmas. I really wear one or the other almost every day. In fact, I request it by name...button sweater. I don't wear it if it's dirty or in the wash.

These were taken on different days, but wearing the same sweater. I do wear my other blue one, but Mom didn't get a picture of me in it yet. One of these is usually in the wash....since it's boogie wiping season and all.

aha, here's the blue one. Nice, huh?

I'm an alarm clock?

Yes. Every morning, I wake up at 7am on the dot! Okay, give or take a few minutes, but quite precise. I sit in my bed and say, " Mmmmm....mmmmmm....." until Mom or Dad comes to get me out of bed. How did this happen? No one knows, but Mom wishes I would sleep in until 8 or so like I used to.

Last weekend we went to Tahoe and this year, it was much more fun. I absolutely love playing in the snow! I pretty much just move sand from here to there, here to there. I like to make piles of snow. I was hoping to go to the top of the mountain, but we didn't really have time before the strong winds came in. Luckily, we drove home before the big storms hit. And then we stopped at the Jelly Belly factory on the way home. It's pretty cool!

I am enjoying school much more these days, and usually play with Jessica and Mia. I guess I'm not much of a talker at school, but I do pay attention. I know all my letters and most of my numbers (1-10). And colors too. My favorite things are still trains, and I love to eat japanese food. Yummy!

By the way, I do not like jumpy houses. I have been to two...and I complained the entire time and wanted to leave as soon as we got there. It's just too loud....all those air blowing machines. Cameron also doesn't like jumpy houses too much. He's off and on, though. I also don't like to go to the movies (I've never been, but I've heard from Cameron, who also doesn't like loud noise). Anywhere it's loud, I don't like. I usually will cover my ears. Well, airplanes are okay.
