Train Tracks!

Yay! Train can go round and round now!

That's what I said when Mom got us a few new wooden tracks....so we could finish the loop. Yup. Before, our trains would have to go off the track, and then back on on the other side. We "misplaced" some track a while ago...

Yay! Finally, we can play trains properly!

That's my favorite song, the one from the Sound of Music. I totally love it. I pretty much know all the words. Mommy wants to try to catch me with Cameron's flip camera so everyone can see....hee hee!

Train Train Train!!!!!!!

So today, Mommy and Daddy took us to ride the Beach Train from Felton to Santa Cruz. I just loved it. The ride was an hour each way, but I didn't think it was too long. We enjoyed a little lunch at the Boardwalk and then rode back. So super cool Plus, we got to see a Civil War enactment. It was crazy! Just check out our pictures (some are on Cameron's blog).

Binkie update and dentist visit

So the update on my lack of binkie. I've been slightly reluctant/fussy at naptime, and sometimes at bedtime as well. But Mom can usually talk me into going to bed. I never ask for my binkie, but I just don't want to go to bed. Mom also says that I don't sleep as long as I used to. I just can't soothe myself back to sleep anymore. I used to sleep from 830pm to about 830am...now I wake up at 730 or 8. And naps? I used to sleep from 1-430 or longer...now I wake up at 330.

We went to the dentist today and I was very good. This time I sat in the chair myself, and followed Dr. Kelly's instructions (like open wide, close lips...etc) I was quiet too. We got fun toothbrushes with a Lego toy inside. She said she could tell that I used the binkie...but no more! And my teeth are spaced nicely and my last pair of molars (on top) are coming out.

Oh, my favorite word/saying these days? Pie pie. What does it mean? Nothing at all. Just something I say. All the time.

No more binkie??!?!?!?

Will it last? No more night binkie (we already got rid of the daytime binkie a long time ago). Yesterday, I decided (with Mom's encouragement) to send my binkies to a baby that needs them, Baby Addison. I helped Mommy put them in the envelope, and we put it all in the mailbox. At bedtime, I was a little upset...to say the least. I didn't actually say that I wanted my binkie, but that I wanted to "go out". Eventually, Mommy calmed me down and got me to go to sleep. I was fine after that and slept the whole night!

When I woke up in the morning....guess what we found on the front porch? Addison, who is so nice, sent me a couple of Thomas the Train toys. I got a remote control Thomas and a motorized Rosie! Now isn't that Addison such a nice baby? Now I'm a big boy! Aren't you proud of me? I sure hope Addison likes her binkies, cuz I sure love my new toys!
