After packing up our camping gear (that's it for camping), we headed to Wuppertal. They are known for the Schwebebahn - the suspended metro system. It's very cool and we enjoyed the ride. More than half the line follows the river and all the stations are high up.

After the roundtrip ride, we made a stop for lunch. Dad had that gigantic pork knuckle. Eh, maybe not next time. It wasn't yummy.

Can you see that? That's in miles...That's the autobahn for you. We're headed for Hamburg and it's quite a drive. As usual, it took us longer than we expected.
Dinner at a seafood restaurant in St Pauli.
Would you believe that this is a daycare? The area we stayed in had graffiti on almost all the buildings, and a homeless encampment. But the area was very safe. We saw lots of families with young children running around and playing on the sidewalks. I guess that's what some folks call "art".

This is the lobby. Down there is the dining area where they serve breakfast. The breakfast is good.
Here you can get your own carafe of water. They even have sliced lemons, limes and cucumber.
