We celebrated the 4th...before the 4th...

It started with a baseball game.  The SJ Giants.  I wish it was the SF Giants, but it's too far and tickets aren't cheap.  Mom wasn't sure how we'd like it, but it turned out to be lots of fun.  We even got to run on the bases after the game was over....and then...there were fireworks!!!  Woo hoo!

We watched the entire game, but often went down to the concessions for frozen yogurt, drinks, garlic fries, and churros.  Yeah, that's partly why it was so fun!  And because the stadium is small, we were pretty close, even though we sat at the highest bleacher row.  And it was also pretty sunny, but we had our hats.  Once the sun went down, it was chilly though.  Mom and Dad were prepared.  :)

After the game, we went down onto the field to run the bases.

Brrr...now waiting for fireworks...

They played another game with tennis balls afterwards...

Then, FIREWORKS!!!!

The next night, we went to Great America for more fireworks.

But before finding our spots, we rode one ride...

I think we got a good spot.

Even though they are loud, I really like watching fireworks now.  So much fun!
