We went skiing with our friends...5 families in one house. It was a pretty nice house...oops, I don't have any pictures of it. Unfortunately, we were in for some pretty dismal weather....snow/rain!!! We went up on Friday morning, so we actually got a few good runs in that afternoon. It was coming down, but Friday, it was still snow. Nice and fluffy. Sometimes too fluffy.
That night, our friends arrived in waves. The Kams and the McFauls came around 8pm...and the Lews and the Wees came at 1am. We were already sleeping by then. It snowed and rained all night, so it took them all quite a while in traffic. Thankfully, they made it safely.
The next morning, we woke up early and headed to the mountains. We didn't get to ski much. The weather was pretty bad...we were getting soaked. Some of the kids had lessons and stuff, so we weren't able to ski with them. After a couple of runs, we gave up. The snow was burning our faces on the chair ride up, but then melted quickly and we were wet, despite our "waterproof" clothes. And it was crazy windy...sometimes it helped push me down the flat parts. At least we were with our friends. That night, we watched Madagascar 3 and ate pizza in the big house with the burning man fireplace. Fun times.
